Aim and goals of the course

: The objective of this course is to equip the first year students of Physics Department with computer usage and some packet programs such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Contents of the course

: Introduction to the Information Technologies, Information Age and Information Society, Information Systems, Computer Organization, Operating Systems, Use of an Operating Systems, Use of Computer Input & Output Devices, Software Concept, Introduction to Software Application (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access)
